Hell yeah. This is all very well considered and well said. 

It really is a huge grift. 

My parents lost all their money to MLM scams *twice*. They were both narcissists. They were both lazy, greedy, selfish, and abusive people. It was totally unsurprising to me that they were successfully conned by yet another grifter. The fact that the con artists were also abusers of children was nothing but a pleasant bonus to my parents.

TTI to MLM really does say it all. Both money making scams where you give no value to other people, just take their money based on false promises with no regard to any harm you cause them in the process.

I do think you are giving regulalr people too much credit though.  There is nothing particularly special about parents who get sucked into TTI sales tactics IMO.  The vast majority of people are just completely incapable of critical thinking. To see through the TTI scam would take minimal critical thinking skills but they still don't bother and you see this all through society all the time. People are not just lazy when it comes to thinking for themselves, but the skill is almost programmed out of them by society.

This is how it was with the Ferriter Family too. Tim and Tracy were both out on bond, and he cont. to work. He was actually just denied being out again until sentencing hearing (November I believe) when they will do Tracy’s status hearing as well. He has tons of connections all over the states and in Spain and Australia. I’m not sure why Florida does this, but I feel that it is irresponsible unless it is set up on their conditions for them to basically fail and return back to the custody of the county.

A Florida man and woman charged with torturing a teen girl by bearing her and dousing her in boiling water for years in what prosecutors called a "house of horrors" appear to have been released from custody, according to a report and county records. 

Latricia Elizabeth Crawley, 46, and Benjamin Deztuan Lockett, 43, who served as guardians to the 15-year-old girl, were arrested and charged Wednesday with aggravated child abuse and child neglect with great bodily harm, according to the Miami Herald. 

Crawley was bailed out of jail on $25,000 bond, the newspaper reported.

And a search of the Broward County jail on the sheriff's department website on Saturday shows Lockett not listed as an inmate.

The girl is in the custody of the Florida Department of Child and Family Services. 

Investigators say the girl had been tortured by the couple since 2014 when they became her guardians. 

She was forced to sleep in a closet and awakened by having cold water dumped on her. 

The girl had to relieve herself in a bucket and at times was forced to kneel on rice that left her with scars on her knees, according to prosecutors, adding that she was fed so infrequently that police said her bones were protruding around her spine.
